Leading a Team of SC professionals, partially co-located, that has full responsibility for procuring plant components for complex projects in PG and O&G industry. Responsible for the Team performance in terms of sourcing, contracting, OTD and budget that I reach by leveraging my personal and my Team’s skills and by building solid relationship with an internationally based suppliers pool. Special focus on risk management and cost targets, with the objective to lead the team in satisfying the needs of external and internal Customers.
Lead of a Supply Chain group (including co-located buyers and Supplier Technical Engineers) focuesed on the handling of suppliers for Balance of Plant components (HRSG, Steam turbines, mechanical & electrical components) and major components such as generators, gearboxes, gas turbines and steelwork. Leading the scouting, selection and qualification of international suppliers in the PG industry. Responsible for the purchased component's quality, cost and lead time as well as for the general supplier's performance.
Lead of the production of turbogenerators sets, assembly of the mechanical and electrical portions of the GT package. Coordination of more than 40 people, including lead of the site installation activities worlsdwide.
Managing of contracts for the supply, installation and commissioning of Turbogenerator sets, including full EPC contracts.
Managing of complex overhauls and plant refurbishment projects in any kind of industry where turbocompressors were installed (steel mills, air separation plants, chemical industrie, O&G). Handling the project from the definition of the scope throught the technical and commercial offer presentation, negotiation and managing of the execution after order.
Commissioning of GT, Steam turbines and turbocompressors plants in EU and Middle East, including plants off-shore in the O&G industrie.
