Dr. Matteo Gagliasso graduated in Medicine and Surgery from University of Turin and subsequently specialized in Thoracic Surgery at San Luigi Gonzaga Hospital. He further developed his expertise through training in leading European centers and in Shanghai. He worked in the Thoracic Surgery Department of Giovanni Bosco Hospital. Since 2026, he has been part of the Thoracic Oncology Surgery team at IRCCS Candiolo. His scientific activity focuses on thoracic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, the ERAS pathway, and integrative oncology. He is an active member of European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, as well as the Italian scientific societies SIET and SICT, ACOI and AMIAR. He is the author and co-author of approximately 40 scientific publications and national and international conference presentations.
