An experienced senior project and consulting professional with over 30 year’s experience in delivering large-scale projects and programs, focussing on troubled project turnaround – both advisory support and hands-on delivery. Key projects include program management of the CPS230 and FAR regulatory projects and the 3 Lines of Accountability Transformation program for Aware Super, the SuperToPension project for Mercer Australia and The Salvation Army Australia’s Financial Transformation program. A key recent contract was to deliver a trading platform for Eightcap, a financial technology company focussed on cryptocurrency and derivatives products such as CFDs (contracts for difference).
Delivery of a back-end trading platform for cryptocurrency, derivatives, foreign exchange and commodities including bullion. Leading development teams across Cyprus, Vietnam and Australia, I was responsible for program and test management of the platform build, including managing external delivery partners. In addition, I took on leadership of Eightcap’s Product & Project Management Office, improving delivery standards and practices across both the PPMO and the broader Engineering division. Also responsible for line management, coaching and development of project and product team members.
This role was to manage the strategic Workforce Sourcing Management Implementation program, transforming the Agency’s workforce through conversion of core roles to permanent positions, and outsourcing non-core technology roles to external service providers through multiple concurrent tenders.
As Portfolio Director, the role was to manage the Risk, Regulatory and Remediation project portfolio within Aware. The portfolio consisted of a transformation program to uplift the 3 Lines of Accountability model; multiple projects responding to new legislative obligations such as FAR and CPS230; and remediation of operational risk management policies and procedures within the organisation. In addition to directly managing the Risk & Compliance Uplift Program, I was responsible for portfolio governance and oversight, engagement with senior stakeholders, managing the pipeline of new initiatives, forming delivery project teams, overall project delivery and program financials.
Management of all strategic and tactical projects for the Mercer Super Trust and the Trust’s clients. Projects successfully delivered include the strategic SuperToPension project and a number of tactical de-merger, insurance re-rate and product change projects. Responsible for engagement with senior stakeholders, including managing the pipeline of new initiatives, forming delivery project teams, governance and oversight of project delivery and program financials.
Provide governance, oversight and reporting of the major projects and programs in Kmart’s Digital Technology team, including Online Replatform and Store Modernisation.
