As Deputy Commander at CARRIER AIR WING THREE, my expertise in naval leadership is applied daily while managing a diverse team and overseeing critical operations for over 1,600 aircrew, maintainers, and administrative support professionals. With a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an Executive MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School, I have honed my strategic and analytical skills, which were instrumental during my two previous squadron command tours and service as Deputy Director of naval aviation officer distribution (PERS-43). I am a member of the U.S. Naval Institute's Editorial Board and my published works advocate for innovative changes in the Navy, reflecting my commitment to operational excellence and forward-thinking leadership within our armed forces.
Founded in 1873, the U.S. Naval Institute is the independent forum for those who dare to read, think, speak, and write in order to advance the professional, literary, and scientific understanding of sea power and other issues critical to global security.
