It's hard to boil down my life into a single driving motivation. I have many interests, ranging from HR and Marketing to carpentry, and feel different forms of satisfaction with each. If I were to sum everything up, I think the most applicable drive would be my desire to create things that help others. Whether I'm building a table or developing a business process, I find satisfaction knowing that my work will be used and will make someone else's life easier. I enjoy learning new things as I work and understanding how each piece fits into the whole, why it's done a certain way, and what tools are best suited for the task. Because of this, my goals have moved towards improving my client's experience. I especially enjoy applying this to a company's employees and culture. I'm passionate about mental health awareness and tearing down stigmatic views surrounding it. I've spent hundreds of hours studying mentally healthy work practices while I obtain my MS in I/O Psychology. I plan to make the workplace a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for everyone, including the neurodiverse population.
