Providing technical support for clinical and administrative colleagues using IT services, including satellite sites within the community. Being the first point of contact in IM&T for all staff across the organisation in the provision of an IT Service Desk. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and fault raised by Health Board Employees. Liaising with other technical department to establish support relationships and actively supporting their activities. Providing project technical support to internal PMO; including investigating and resolving technical issues, implementation of new IT services.
Responsible for financial management and planning, human resources – particularly recruitment, contract management and procurement. While in this role I designed and implemented a web-based portal for centralised record keeping, staff management and communication.
This role primarily centered around technical support in a OEM capacity. Manufacturability analysis and formal feedback to design engineering. Development of testing equipment and software. Reporting estimations of workload, costing and performance indicators to senior managers. Delegration of activities and training to external contractors.
Fault finding, diagnosis and solutions implementation on board level electronics. Working with senior technicians to devise construction and anaylsis techniques to assist OEM technical support.
My principle duties involved the maintenance company installation sites, working autonomously to across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Providing hardware and software support, to inbuilt SQL databases, board level test and repair, fault finding and diagnosis. As well as providing mechanical maintenance and installation. This was a heavily customer facing role requiring both customer services and engineering skills.
Installing and supporting a range of communication systems provided to public and private sector customers particularly satellite communications systems, vehicle mounted technical solutions, networking systems, RF communications and robotic equipment. Typical duties included liaising with clients, diagnosis and fault finding of faulty equipment; or building and implementing new technical solutions, or upgrading old systems.
