With over 30 years’ experience in the offshore renewables, ports and shipping industries and a strong track record of collaboration across the private, public and academic sectors, I am now fully engaged in supporting the objective of establishing the South West as a world leader in Floating Offshore Wind by 2030, laying the foundations for a new sustainable long term industry. This ambition aligns with the Government’s plan for the UK to become a world leader in green energy and floating offshore wind. I am experienced in leading on the strategic development, commercial and operational activities of organisations looking to grow sustainable businesses locally, nationally and internationally. With a reputation for influencing, partnership working and stakeholder relationship development, I pride myself on an ability to build a rapport with clients, colleagues and staff by adopting a person-centred approach.
Leading Celtic Sea Power, a regionally embedded service delivery company providing specialist coordination, advisory and delivery services to organisations operating in and around the Celtic Sea. As an arms-length company owned by Cornwall Council, CSP works across public and private sectors to ensure complex offshore, infrastructure and energy-related activity is delivered efficiently, transparently and with clear regional benefit.

Supporting the creation and execution of company strategy. Planning and leading business operations ensuring delivery of company projects and objectives.

Playing a leading role alongside key partners in positioning, formulating and delivering the strategy for the future of the marine sector in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly including developing the relationships, evidence and mechanisms required for the regions to maximise the opportunity presented by the industrialisation of Floating Offshore Wind. Through the provision of service to Wave Hub Ltd, Programme Director for the South West Floating Offshore Wind Accelerator. Leading a project consortium including A&P, Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, Offshore Renewable Catapult and Wave Hub in the development and deliver (subject to Strength in Places funding) a £66m. I am also the Programme Director of the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Project and the Cornwall FLOW Accelerator
Responsible for the successful operations, growth and development of Plymouth University’s wholly owned subsidiary company providing a range of commercial services. This currently includes Retail Catering, Hospitality, Early Years Education and Childcare. Key tasks include strengthening existing business operations whilst also developing vision and strategy resulting in new business streams.
