I am currently Shell AI Developer Experience Analyst at Shell and a BSc Mathematics graduate from the University of Reading. My previous role was as a Data Scientist at Shell, a position I held for 2 years. I am a highly motivated, hard working individual who is very computer literate and has experience using a wide range of computer software and programmes. I also have lots of experience working as part of a team, leading a team and working as an individual, all with high levels of success.
- Responsible for the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of multiple cloud infrastructure projects hosted on both the Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud and Kubernetes Docker - Experience gained in multiple programming languages including but not limited to PowerShell, JSON, Bash, Terraform, YAML, MATLAB, Python
- Built multiple deployable applications in MATLAB for business cases all across Shell using different machine learning methodologies. - Drove all ongoing MATLAB based projects within the Shell.ai space, whilst managing the relationship between Shell and MathWorks consulting.
Having completed a successful internship in Digitalisation previously at Shell, I have since been invited back to complete a second 3 month internship.
I was one of only 5 interns working in the Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence within Shell UK at Canary Wharf, London over summer 2017. I was placed in the Digital Marketing department however my mathematics background meant I was also assigned to relevant projects such as data analysis projects analysing new energies. Following my internship, I was described by my manager as possessing the qualities of a future leader at Shell.
• Generating new client accounts through market research, relationship development and maintenance and the conversion of accounts into sales. • Account management. • Working alongside external companies to increase lead generation. Monthly analytic reports, CRM database management, strict personal organisation, teamwork and individual time management skills. • Editing home floor plans, elevations and exhibition floor plans for customers using AutoCAD. • Representing Pathfinder Homes at public and trade exhibitions across the UK including Grand Designs Live and the Ideal Home Show.
Seasonal lifeguard at an open air swimming pool from which I was promoted to assistant pool supervisor at the start of the second season. Duties included; • Responsible for opening/closing of the premises. • Organising a small team of lifeguards and volunteers. • Controlling and keeping track of the Chemical levels of the pool water. • Ensuring all pool NOP's are carried out.
