About

Hey, I’m Matt. I’m passionate about building winning programs and teams and helping others succeed. My career began at Edelman, where I honed my public relations strategy skills and learned the fundamentals of business development. From there, I transitioned to Travendly, running operations for its Cuba-bound adventures. (Ask me about the time I appeared on 60 Minutes!) I later moved on to Skubana, an inventory and order management platform that empowered 8-figure brands like Death Wish Coffee Company and Haus Labs to automate their operations. Working across customer success and sales roles, I dove deep into back-office strategy and gained valuable back-office experience supporting brands and retailers. At BigCommerce, I led global omnichannel business development across platforms like Amazon, Google, Mercado Libre, Meta, TikTok and Walmart. I also created and launched the Omnichannel Certified Agency (OCA) and Omnichannel Certified Tech (OCT) programs, both of which were designed to drive value for our partners and their clients. After helping BigCommerce acquire Feedonomics in 2021, I was promoted to Senior Director and Head of Global Partnerships. In this role, I led the division that ran partnerships with major institutional organizations (e.g., Google, TikTok, Meta) and developed commercial go-to-market strategies with them. My team also cultivated relationships with services partners (e.g., marketing/systems integrators, private equity) that support enterprise retailers worldwide, contributing to 8-figures in annual recurring revenue. Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler who’s backpacked to see the eight remaining man-made world wonders. Following those adventures, I've also fallen for Colombia’s charm and have invested in a boutique hotel in Medellín and would be happy to share my favorite places to visit if you ever find yourself in Provenza. :) Currently, I’m exploring innovative ways to use AI to scale our GTM motions.
