Replaced the VP of Finance February 2021, and have assumed the lead Finance role since. Also oversee the Accounting and IT departments.
-Perform external financial statement audit functions for small to medium manufacturing and distribution clients that range from private closely held to public SEC. I've also performed audit procedures on employee benefit plans, which include 401K and pension plans for private and public SEC clients. In addition I have performed agreed upon fraud procedures. -Apply GAAS and GAAP, along with researching current accounting pronouncements in order to deliver value added services to our clients and grow as a professional. -I am involved in multiple phases of the audit process, including planning, internal control testing, detailed substantive testing, analytical review, and reporting procedures. -Supervise, manage, train, and review staff and intern's work. -Communicate results of the engagement with colleagues above me, including audit partners as well as high ranking client management.
