Washington, District of Columbia, United States
I am an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP. Prior to that I clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before clerking I was in private practice at Jones Day in their Washington, DC office, where I was a member of the commercial litigation group. I have experience in major multi-billion dollar bankruptcy proceedings, international arbitrations involving Fortune 500 companies, complex tort and corporate litigation, defamation and free speech lawsuits, and billion dollar M&A transactions. While at Jones Day I maintained an active pro bono practice, representing clients in asylum cases, public benefits matters, and housing disputes. I am passionate about the law. I believe attorneys play a critical role in upholding the law and maintaining a free and stable society. I am admitted to practice in DC and NY. Outside of the law, I love volleyball, golf, writing (on legal and non-legal topics), baking bread, gardening, fishing, and reading histories, biographies, political philosophy, and anything Tolkien.
Adjunct professor teaching a scholarly writing seminar for members of the George Washington University Law Review.
Currently in Jones Day’s New Lawyer Group in our Washington, DC office. The NLG provides first year associates with the opportunity to do work in a variety of practice areas before picking a practice group to join. I passed the New York Bar and am currently going through the admissions application process for both New York and DC.
