Engineering and Facilities Manager for SM Baynes. Reporting to the Managing Directors Member of the Senior Management Team, accountable for Engineering Manager and Engineering Team. Responsible for the Capital Expenditure, Engineering and Facilities of a large factory over 60 retail premises.
Working with the not for profit organisation helping to enable adventure in Scotland. Designing adventures for members. Leading rides. Member of the leadership team. Qualified MBL2 Leader. Qualified outdoor first aider. Qualified Road Ride leader.
Responsible for delivering CAPITAL projects across multiple sites, engineering development and due diligence for new site acquisitions. Responsible for engineering strategy and direction across multiple sites and businesses.
Effectus Engineering is an engineering business, specialising in root crop handling equipment. I was responsible for the profit and loss of the new start engineering business. Employed 8 full time staff comprising of fabricator welders, draughtsman and labourers. Responsible for various design concepts and bringing engineering solutions to process, product and people problems.
