Strong interest for development of new technology and new knowledge to solve new needs. I have been leading this development in Safety AE/Research projects at Volvo Cars with curiosity, openness, involving, challenging and structure. Looking forward to continue leading projects in this or other areas to solve new challenges. 20 years experience of: Leading VCC’s Safety Strategy and AE/research process, Coordinating VCC Safety AE portfolio, Managing and Leading Safety AE and research projects including Field data analysis, Method development and Vehicle Requirements at VCC Safety Centre. 10 years experience of: Applying for and leading Safety research projects: VINNOVA (FFI) and EU projects. VCC responsible for leading development test methods of Active Safety/ADAS rating and Grading/AD (Autonomous Drive) methods in external projects together with Institutes, Test labs, Test object developers, other OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, ACEA and Rating organizations. Leading Driver in the Loop/Driver Model research projects regarding ADAS/AD functions including simulator and test track tests. VCC member in ACEA and ISO working groups. I am used and skilled to work and negotiate with external partners as a project leader for VINNOVA and EU projects and with external partners in development of test methods. More than 10 years experience of cooperation with other Research partners at SAFER (https://www.saferresearch.com) in Reference groups, networks, research projects and in recent years as Research Area Director and member of the Management Team. Experience from new Agile organization at VCC as RTE and Scrum master.
Manager for Safety Centre Research project portfolio for Active Safety and Passive Safety. Leading VCC Safety Strategy, AE/Research and Needs/Means process as Leader for Product Attribute Council - Safety. Research project leader for VINNOVA/FFI, EU and ViP (VTI) projects with focus on Active Safety and Autonomus Drive together with Universities, Institutes, Test laboraties, OEMs and Tier 1. Project leader in 3 VINNOVA/FFI projects and 2 ViP projects. VCC project leader in 2 EU projects and 4 VINNOVA/FFI projects. Responsible VCC Project leader in 5 Active Safety Rating method development research projects, 2009-2020, for EUNCAP and other NCAP ratings and Legal requirements together with: Rating institutes: EUNCAP, IIHS, NHTSA, CATARC/CNCAP, ADAC, BAST Insurance research institutes: Thatcham, IIHS, GDV, Folksam Active Safety Test laboratories: Thatcham, TNO, IDIADA, ASTA, UTAC Test Target suppliers: 4A, DRI, ABD Other OEMs in projects and in ACEA and Tier 1 suppliers The projects has delivered Field data analysis, Driver in the Loop tests, Intervention & Warning strategies, Scenario definition, Test target and Test method development. 2019-2020: Research Area Director and member of the Management Team at SAFER (https://www.saferresearch.com). 2019-2020: RTE and Scrum master at Safety Centre in new Agile organization.
Manager for research and analysis of different kind of accident data for development of Safety Strategies, Safety requirements and test methods for new Safety systems.
Leader of Product Attribute Council (PAC) – Safety: Safety Strategy, Safety Reserach/AE, Safety Technology Cycle Plan and Safety needs/means process at VCC. PAC-S representative at PAC-Governance Board. Responsible for coordinating Safety Advanced Engineering inside VCC and in cooperation with Ford Motor Company to fulfil VCC Safety Needs.
