About

My role is unique. While most of Ericsson Research focuses on cutting-edge technology, I focus on how we make that technology valuable. Because the truth is: technology by itself has no value — it needs to be paired with the right business model to capture value. That’s where I come in. With over 25 years at Ericsson and a PhD in Business Model Innovation, I help teams across the company (and increasingly outside of it) understand not just what we’re building, but why it matters, who it’s for, and how it will be monetized. My job is to make sure we’re not just creating value, but that we’re capturing it too. I collaborate with researchers, business units, operators, and external partners to explore platform strategies, ecosystem thinking, and value design. Through strategic frameworks, workshops, and advisory support, I help people across the innovation lifecycle find out what value we’re delivering — and how to capture it effectively. I love that my role connects me with a wide range of brilliant minds across the world. Whether I’m speaking at Harvard or Cambridge, mentoring up-and-coming researchers, or running a value workshop for a technical team, I’m always focused on the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercial value. Some of the key skills I bring include: ● Business model design & innovation ● Innovative Platform thinking in telecom ● Value creation & value capture ● Ecosystem strategy & commercialization ● Strategic facilitation & stakeholder engagement Outside of work, I’m passionate about photography, especially when it involves following my son’s football team and capturing their best moments on the field. My wife and I also love to travel — from our early years travelling across Asia to recent visits across Europe and the US, exploring new cultures continues to inspire me. Let’s connect if you’re interested in platform business, business model innovation, or want to talk about the value behind what we build.
