I began my career in Paediatric Intensive Care at Birmingham Children’s Hospital after graduating with First Class Honours in Nursing. I went on to build my first successful health business, helping thousands of mothers reclaim their health and confidence through personalised, preventative care. Through both professional and personal experience of matrescence, I saw the systemic failure to support women across motherhood. Matresa was born to address this gap: a clinical-grade, preventative maternal health infrastructure delivering early screening, risk stratification, and trend-based signal detection between appointments. We support mothers from pregnancy through the first two years of their baby’s life (Phase One), combining medical-grade monitoring with personalised, action-oriented insights. For mothers: We provide early identification of physical and psychological risk, personalised preventative guidance, and structured continuity of care throughout maternity leave and beyond, so no warning sign is missed during one of life’s most vulnerable transitions. For businesses: We provide structured maternal health infrastructure across maternity leave and the first two years postpartum, supporting both mothers and leaders with data-informed insights, proactive risk visibility, and guided pathways that reduce prolonged absence, improve retention, protect performance, and strengthen leadership confidence. This moves organisations beyond policy compliance or ad-hoc KIT days into measurable, preventative support. For healthcare providers: We enhance early detection, structured risk flagging, and dyadic (mother–baby) monitoring between appointments, strengthening preventative pathways without adding clinical burden. Backed by research, corporate pilots, and real-world traction, Matresa is redefining maternal care. I’m passionate about building visionary solutions, leading with empathy, and disrupting the maternal health market to drive meaningful, measurable change for mothers, healthcare systems, and employers alike.
Matresa is a clinical-grade, preventative maternal health platform focused on early screening, risk identification, and continuous care across pregnancy, postpartum and return to work. Built to close the gaps between appointments, Matresa supports easier identification of emerging maternal risk and more proactive, preventative support. Strengthening outcomes for women, families, and the systems that support them. Designed as maternal health infrastructure, rather than a wellbeing solution, Matresa operates alongside existing healthcare pathways and enterprise health strategies, providing scaleable, evidence-led material health support without replacing clinical care. Matresa partners with healthcare provides, employer, insurers, and enterprise organisations seeking robust, preventative maternal health solutions that reduce risk, improve continuity of care, and support long-term workforce retention and population health outcomes. Matresa, building the preventative layer in maternal healthcare. Matresa, a safe space in a growing community.
