LeadTheFuture is a non-profit organization with the goal of helping talented Italian students in STEM to achieve their potential. Each selected university or high school student is paired with a mentor with similar interests and international experience. Today LeadTheFuture counts more than 140 mentors and mentees who belong to institutions like Google, Stanford, NASA, Apple, Cambridge, Harvard, Normale di Pisa and many others, besides having won international medals at Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Chemistry and Astrophysics Olympiads.
The main focus of the project was applying Graph Neural Networks in Robotics and RL, supervised by Marcin Andrychowicz and Raphael Marinier.
Coauthor of 2 papers submitted to the Graph Representation Learning workshop at NeurIPS 2019 (Accepted, https://grlearning.github.io/papers/88.pdf) and ICLR 2020 (Accepted, https://arxiv.org/abs/1910.10593). The research consisted of demonstrating the performance that GNN architectures obtain when imitating individual steps of classical graph algorithms and how this correlates with their structure.
