I have over 15 years of increasing responsibilities in political organisations and European institutions aiming at delivering better public policies. After leading the Assembly of European Regions and the Interreg North West Europe programme, I am proud to pursue my commitment to European territorial cooperation, democracy and human rights with the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
Instil the vision of the organisation among staff and members / partners Ensure AER is on top of all topics of interest to regions on economic, environmental, social, health, culture, education and youth topics Represent the organisation throughout Europe Ensure good relationships with institutional partners at national, European and international level Be the voice of the organisation during advocacy campaigns (e.g. on broad topics such as the future of the cohesion policy or on very technical issues such as state aid to regional airports) Lookout for new relevant partnerships (institutional, think tanks, private, academia…) Manage AER's human resources (8 permanent staff in Brussels and Strasbourg & around 20 seconded civil servants across Europe) Follow up the evolution of the AER budget
