• Based in GABON, Libreville, assisted the Group CFO covering all African countries where Siat Group operates (GHANA, GABON, NIGERIA, IVORY COAST) • Provided timely and effective management and control of the Finance department of each subsidiary to ensure efficiency, improve productivity, support growth and profitability • Set-up and lead the IFRS function: From defining methodology, models & tools for conversion with the assistance of a Big 4 to coaching and sharing with local finance teams. It resulted in a successful conversion of the Nigerian listed subsidiary. Ranked top 2 performers by the Nigerian Federal Reporting Council (FRC) • Set-up and lead the financial control function including the budgeting & planning process: From defining methodology & tools (based on analytical accounting) to conducting/ coordinating budget process and overseeing follow-up analysis on actuals versus budget forecast • Involved in other various “ad hoc” activities (business plans, bank loan files application & follow up…)
• Based in Kwae estate (180 km from Accra), GHANA, overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the Finance department in a very challenging operational environment (African “palabres”, plantation contractors strikes, various security issues, cash constraints for payroll processing…). Lead the daily operations including financial planning, record-keeping, financial reporting to general management and Siat Group • Set-up and monitored control systems in various processes: from PtP, S&D to IM and store management • Overall responsibility for the Budgeting & Planning process and follow-up activities (variance analysis) • Managed a team of 22 persons; available as coach/mentor in assisting direct reports to develop in their position.
