Leading the sales teams across several countries in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Malta, North Macedonia and Bosnia.
The Manager Regional Sales Development, reports to SVP North, South and West Europe, has the overall responsibility for business development strategy in the field, with the objective of maximising long term revenue and profits: - Responsible in communicating business development strategies, actions, results, and requirements within the region - Regularly meets and participates on sales visits and trade events to represent the entire region and develop business opportunities with key accounts - Works closely with Head Office Teams such as Global Sales, Revenue Management, Corporate Planning, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders in developing business development strategies and actions - Develops initiatives and defines priorities for the maximization of revenue across the region and across customer segments - Accountable for the setting and management of metrics for good control of revenue performance and strategic compliance in the sales region, ensures sharing and implementation of best practices between countries - Supports the SVP NSW Europe and Country Managers in meeting the commercial needs of the company, especially with respect to staff recruitment, training, performance management and staff development, communication process as well as systems developments
- Responsible for the Swedish, Danish, Polish and Finnish markets and the sales team activities from HO level to deliver the company's sales strategy - Manages the charter business of Malév by negotiating ad-hoc and chain charter agreements - Negotiates corporate, travel agent, tour operator deals and allotments - Coordinates between outstation sales and head office units (network planning, finance, revenue accounting, revenue management, airport services) - Negotiates with regional corporate accounts about cross border cooperation
