Served as Production engineer for 100+ Eagle Ford wells in Dimmit & Atascosa County, TX. Primary Gas lift operation with plunger assist where applicable. Oversaw workovers, pipeline installs, tank battery construction, SWD construction for 10,000+ bwpd commercial style facility. Utilized P2 Merrick Software and SCADA to continuously monitor production and gas lift volumes to optimize/minimize gas lift volumes. Added continuous plunger lift where applicable for performance uplift and to reduce gas lift usage. Performed multiple rod part/pump replacement workovers on pumping wells. Served as Completion Engineer on 30 new infill wells. Applied latest frac technologies on new completions such as: Use of HVFRs, in basin 100 mesh, frac diversion, increased sand placement, reduce cluster spacing and stage spacing, Parent well protection pump-ins. Laterals ranged from 5,000’ to over 10,500’ in length. Completions included Single well completions to 5 well zipper fracs. Managed completion scheduling, vendor selection, water supply, on site QC for frac and CT drill outs.
10/2004-1/2007 Worked in Tight Unconventional Gas (TUG) group. Primarily worked as Asset Engineer (Reservoir and Completions) for Michigan Antrim Shale Properties. Drilled 50+ Verticals with multistage completions in Alpena County. Drilled 2 horizontal wells trying to extend play to the South in Alcona County. 1/2007 - 7/2007 Worked as Asset Engineer on Anadarko Shelf team. Primarily in Custer County, OK. Evaluated non op proposals and completed 3 Red Fork wells. 7/2007-3/2009 Worked on the Shelf Team as an Asset Engineer. Completed Company's first few Horizontal wells in Hemphill/Wheeler Counties. 3/2009 - 2/2010 Worked as Production Engineer on SEUS team. Included properties in N. LA, AR, AL, MS. Functions included workovers, compressor optimizations, chemicals treatments, rod pumps, H2S treating for Haynesville wells, etc. 2/2010 - 8/2012 Completions Engineer for Haynesville Team. Completed HZ Haynesville wells in N. LA and E. TX. 8/2012 - 4/2014 Asset Engineer for Horizontal Oil Trend Team (HOTT). Developed Marmaton field in Roger Mills County. Completed 12 wells in the field. Evaluated non op Marmaton wells, Tonkawa, Prue Wash, Skinner, Hogshooter, Cana Woodford, SE Woodford (SCOOP). Assisted on several Data Room Evaluations. 4/2014 - Present Completion Engineer covering Mid Con OK/TX, ETX. Completed Horizontals in Douglass, GW, CV, Marmaton and critical workovers in same fields.
2001 - 2003 Production Engineer for Midcon. Primarily worked Red Fork play in Custer and Roger Mills Counties. Completed vertical, multistage Red Fork wells. Also tended to various workers in area such as casing leaks, velocity strings, plunger lifts, re-fracs and recompletions. 2003-2004 Drilling/Completion Engineer for Hartshorne CBM field in SE Oklahoma.
