Research focus: Family Caregiving • Supported the analysis of public feedback regarding the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers (Administration for Community Living, Department of Health and Human Services). •Supported the creation of a project management tool for the federal government to manage and track progress on committed federal actions related to the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers. Research Focus: Nursing Home Financing • Supported the collection and organization of national nursing home cost and reimbursement data (Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, Department of Health and Human Services). Research Focus: Innovative Healthcare Delivery System Models • Supported an evaluation of the economic and clinical impact of the Commonwealth Care Alliance model (in partnership with Harvard Medical School).
• Research Focus: “Segmented Immobility and Intersectionality in Healthcare Labor Markets” • Coded qualitative data collected from interviews with healthcare workers using atlas.ti and analyzed key findings • Key findings supported the creation of a timely report to the Labor and Employment Relations Association and generation of key policy recommendations that highlight how healthcare organizations can foster cultural competency and equity • Teaching Assistant for the courses Assets and Social Policy and Racial/Ethnic and Gender Inequalities in Health and Health Care
