She designed the concept and launch of SAMHSA's Wellness Initiative, managed SAMHSA's ADS Center providing technical assistance to consumer-led organizations, and supported strategic planning for SAMHSA's trauma campaign. For the American Psychological Association, Mary Pat designed the plan for Psychology: Science in Action, a multi-year public awareness campaign that continues today. In addition, she led brand development for the National Council's Serving Our Veterans Behavioral Health Certificate and Awards of Excellence. For all of these clients, Mary Pat designed and executed social marketing and communications plans including brand and creative development, digital and traditional media outreach, and communications training and technical assistance strategies. In the year she was with Vanguard, Mary Pat led three business development proposals resulting in $250,000 in new client work, and she earned Vanguard's Innovator Award.
