As a practicum student, I worked under the supervision of the Physiotherapist/Kinesiologist (PT/Kin) team. While learning various techniques commonly used by the PT/Kin team, I have had the opportunity to apply this learning to skills such as cupping therapy, shockwave therapy and soft tissue massages. I’ve also worked alongside the GLA:D program and demonstrating exercises, as well as walking patients through their exercise prescriptions.
