Mary has mainly focused in design and its application on place, wherever place need to be identified. In 2002, at the age of 22 years old, she founded a partnership design agency called theSwitch, developing design applications for companies. Few years later established the company theSwitch place identity focusing at workplace, retail, exhibition and corporate buildings design. Her experience of a design consultant includes involvement in all parts of a projects' realization, starting from an original idea to production and from design to construction, from analysis to management and implementation. Has developed concepts about various SMEs, brands and advertising company as Bold Ogilvy, Ogilvy One, Leo Burnett, Posh Oogilvy, Davlas & Partners, So Fine, Nivea, Vodafone, Motorola, Smirnoff, Hellasod, Shelman, Adidas, Iron Mike Zampidis, Christoforos Kotentos, Athens Biennial, Ergobox, Entec, Concept1010, Penguin City and others. In 2009 Mary launched “Imagine the City”, an initiate on developing concepts and projects combining design and change management processes about city’s place identity and urban regeneration in Greece. Imagine the City projects are currently supported by a wide network of people, professionals and volunteers. In collaboration with the University of Thessaly initiated the organization of 1st Hellenic Place Marketing & Branding Conference which include relevant city’s events. She studied interior & industrial design in the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, spending a semester in the University of Florence at the department of Architecture, as part of the Erasmus programme. She has taken courses in scenography, acting, art therapy, life coaching and leadership. Exploring city culture travels around the cities in many countries as Italy, Germany, England, Scotland, Finland, Holland, France, United States, Argentina, Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus, admires tango argentino and sailing in the Greek seas.
