I retired in June 2021 after 38 years in elementary education. I taught kindergarten through fourth grade. I also had the opportunity to work as a Bilingual Resource Teacher for two of my three schools. I collaborated on staff development at my school site as well as at the district level. I mentored new teachers through their certification programs for the University of California, Irvine and California State University, Long Beach. In 2007, I completed a MA degree in Educational Administration through Concordia University. I also have a MS in Bilingual Education from California State University, Fullerton. Presently, I’m attending digital marketing classes through Santa Ana College. Since, I’m in a new chapter of my life, I’m on a new adventure.
