Seek, sign and serve sports assets as well as manage Nike's portfolio of individual and teams endorsements. Recruit, build and maintain positive relationships with potential new key assets to ensure brand acceptance and product satisfaction. Analyze future potential athlete in assigned sports category. Gather, track and analyze statistical performance data on an ongoing bases and create positive relationships with this athletes. Leverage relationships with players, agents, coaches, media, association personnel, etc. to propel the Nike brand mission and image within the designated sports industry and the marketplace and to maximize product sales. Develop and execute strategy with the GEO Director of Sports Marketing and local Marketing teams to capitalize on key corporate business partners that will maximize potential sales through the sport and key athletes. Maintain budgetary responsibility for forecasting and tracking on all programs associated with the Recruitment of Marquee Athlete’s. Prepare yearly analysis on return on investment.
Responsible for managing Teams and Federations sponsored by Nike in SOCO, including all contractual, operational, financial and marketing aspect. Leverage and develop relationships with authorities and staffs, of each club and federation. Built relationships with potential new assets. Analyze new investments. Partner with the local Marketing team to execute any initiative that involves the club/federation. Track and analyze the Clubs and Federations budget evolution. Gather insights (brief), to inspire future lines. Negotiate the assortment to be delivered every contractual year. Supervise the forecasting process of those units. Provide insight/feedback on the product that we have delivered. Manage relationship and communication with GFA and GPA.
Review and update existing fiscal year strat plans. Meet all Geography strat plan reporting deadlines. Insure accuracy of information via formal review of contract terms. Gather information concerning competitor assets and maintain list of potential steals. Indentify metrics that evaluate positioning and/or success on a territory/country basis. Seek and sign the world’s best sports assets. Work with Geography Sport Marketing Director to identify key assets. Insure alignment with Brand Marketing objectives on a Global/Geographical/Territory/Country basis. Work with Geography Sport Marketing Director to plan and execute key negotiations. Strengthen relationship with existing assets. Build external relationship with heads of sports governing bodies, key federations/clubs and athletes.
