My work has helped de-risk two of the world's largest rCB projects, contributing to investments exceeding $400 million. I also facilitated a €600k technology project that enabled the construction of a demonstrator reactor, followed by a collaboration with a top-5 tyre company and a major European refinery. I am co-author of the "Prospects for recovered Carbon Black" report and founder of the Smithers recovered Carbon Black Conference series, the leading annual meeting place for the global rCB industry, attracting more than 500 delegates annually. The inaugural Recovered Carbon Black Congress took place on May 21st-22nd 2019 in Berlin with 172 participants from all over the world and from the complete value chain including tire recycling associations, tire recycling companies, equipment companies, tire pyrolysis technology providers, tire pyrolysis operators, investors, service partners, consultants and customers and potential customers of recovered carbon black. In 2024, the rCB Asia Conference was founded, creating the largest professional community for the rCB industry of 500 delegates between rCB Europe and rCB Asia.
