As Regional Information Security Officer, Im overseeing MSC Agencies in 19 countries (1000+ end users). As part of my duties, I: *Maintain regional Information Security Framework and underlying policies, procedures, standards and guidelines in close collaboration with MSC global IS/IT organization; *Developing, maintaining and update the regional Information Security Strategy and Information Security Program, associated Information security policies and procedures; *Perform checkups and audits to ensure appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards are in place to protect MSC information assets from internal and external threats; *Conduct and complete periodically reviews and audits as required engaging both internal and external resources; *Ensure that disaster recovery and emergency operating procedures are in place and tested on a regular basis; *Act as the committed owner of the security incident and vulnerability management processes from design to implementation and beyond; *Ensure effective staff training programs is in place, educate employees on information security related topics; *Support other IT teams with their ongoing project, consulting about best approaches on security; *Coordinate incident investigation and resolution.
