I am a chartered civil engineer and project manager working as a Senior Project Manager in Arup's advisory team. I bring over 11 years of experience working on water and civil engineering projects in UK/Europe and large-scale climate adaptation infrastructure and WASH projects in Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. I have extensive international experience, most notably having spent two years in Peru working on a $5 billion climate adaptation programme with the Peruvian government.
Principal Consultant responsible for managing various international projects in the water resource modelling and planning space, as well as seeking new business.
Supporting the Government of Peru to design and deliver billions of dollars of climate-resilient flood defence and drainage infrastructure to protect the country against future extreme flood events. Working as part of the UK Delivery Team (UKDT) - a joint venture with Arup, Mace and Gleeds. My role is technical assurance lead for three of the city-wide surface water drainage projects.
Working as a civil engineer in the international development team at Arup. The role involves providing consultancy support to INGOs, donors and national governments, as well as undertaking standalone civil engineering projects around the world.
WASH Engineering Officer. The role involved providing technical advice and design support to Concern's $10 million/yeat engineering portfolio in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, as well as visiting country programmes in the Central African Republic, Somaliland, Liberia and Ethiopia to provide more in-depth support and training when required.
Worked in the civil engineering and highways team at Arup Bristol. I worked on a variety of work, from small flood risk and drainage projects to large multi-million pounds highways schemes. Role highlight: deputy design manager for the £290 million A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross scheme, helping manage the engineering team of 80 staff members and coordinating the design with the other disciplines.
