With over 18 years in the tech sector, I have embarked on an exciting new chapter as a National Partner Solution Sales Professional for Azure Data & AI at Microsoft Canada. In this role, I lead our efforts to empower partners and customers to harness the power of Azure Data and AI, driving innovation and digital transformation across Canada. My journey in technology has been diverse and transformative. Before stepping into my current position, I was the Sr. National Channel Sales Manager for Azure, where I spearheaded the Azure Partner-Sales channel, collaborating with Microsoft's elite Azure partners to foster digital modernization. Prior to that, I served as the Sr. National Enterprise Channel Manager - Security, focusing on helping public sector organizations securely adopt cloud technology. My earlier roles at Microsoft involved acquiring new Azure customers and leading impactful partner initiatives, enhancing our enterprise customer portfolio. This was a natural progression from my tenure at Softlanding, where I built and managed a high-performing sales team, engaging in pivotal sales opportunities. One of my proudest achievements was co-founding Pango Security Systems Corporation, an early adopter of cloud technology for security. We developed innovative systems that allowed remote video recording and live viewing, pioneering in an area that's now commonplace. My expertise extends beyond Microsoft's suite of tools. I have a burgeoning passion for AI, and I'm excited about the possibilities it brings to cloud technology and beyond. In my current role, I look forward to leveraging Azure AI to help our partners and customers navigate the evolving landscape of cloud computing and AI integration. We sold the service on a monthly subscription basis and were one of the first companies to leverage 'the cloud'. In the end I exited by selling the company to ThinkTel Communications.
