Having successfully been the CEO of the museum, school, center, foundation, a board member, chair of the board, trustee, and chair of the trustees - I was advanced to the role of CEO of an ever-growing USPSC Conglomerate portfolio. In 2024 we won the LUX Magazine award for Best Colonial Experience in America. This responsibility now includes the new USPSC International Film Festival and the continued expansion of the PRESENTS Television Network on Amazon LIVE, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitch. It also includes our ever-growing investment cycle with world-hosted Africa, Asia, and LATAM investment weeks. These now operate within almost 40 USPSC WhatsApp groups and are part of the greater 500+ WhatsApp private ecosystem of groups we work inside of. The Conglomerate also now is working on the World Food History Museum, gaming ventures to increase and expand inclusion of disabled veterans via Wounded Warrior Project Stream to Serve initiatives and new properties.
Coming from a childhood singing and acting on stage to a Best Supporting Actor award for Grandpa in "You Can't Take it With You" on the Eastern Seaboard in 1981, I have continued to work and appear on television for the next 40 years across three continents and over 430 shows/films appeared in or directed and produced. Working often as a Principal Military Advisor, I have completed significant productions with Kris Kristofferson, Jane Curtain, Bug Hall, Director Rob Thompson (Northern Exposure, Monk, TAD Lincoln, The Wonder Years, Doogie Houser, M. D., Mr. & Mrs. Smith), and Jean Louisa Kelly (Top Gun Maverick, Mr. Holland's Opus, Law & Order, and The Call of the Wild). I continue to work in Hollywood and NYC and was a military advisor for the Academy Award (the OSCAR) Nominated "Alone Yet Not Alone" movie. My experience spans all forms of production. I worked directly for Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy (Seabiscuit, Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Bourne Identity, Lincoln, etc...), the most profitable producers in history. When streaming took hold firmly around 2020, I was immediately tapped to build The Presents Television Streaming Network (owned by the USPSC) and rolled out 14 shows. Since then, technology and computational power have led to 4k and 8k rollouts into 10GB bandwidth for internet service as we now head on up to 50GB residential service and more. Our production, blocking, and graphics packages rival major networks like CNN and FOX.
Now holding the most senior position in the Presidential Center, I continue to bring servant leadership and coaching to the table. My role on earth is to grow, enrich, share with, inspire, and help others. I'm a curious learner that is exceptionally agile. As a chameleon, I shift between today's inspiring 12-year-old talks to collaborating with an 80-year-old benefactor. I resonate with X-generation team members through all five generations of benefactors and workers into the early 1900s Silent Generation. My experience is proven on three continents and in 205 countries, raising billions of dollars. I have a growth mindset, being persistent and resilient, and provide critical analysis to complex concepts.
My Role as Treasurer at the Global Embassy of Culture: As Treasurer of the Global Embassy of Culture, I see myself as the guardian of our financial integrity. I make sure every dollar is tracked, recorded, and spent in alignment with our mission. I don’t just “keep the books”—I protect trust. I’m responsible for compliance too. That means I stay on top of IRS filings, 1099 forms, and state requirements so we never miss a deadline or jeopardize our credibility. I’ve built internal controls that keep us accountable—clear procedures for deposits, reimbursements, and approvals—because I know that strong financial systems give our donors and partners confidence. I also lead in creating and monitoring our budgets. I watch for risks and help the board see where we stand, where we’re headed, and how our money tells the story of our strategy. Part of my role is communication. I provide timely, clear reports so everyone on our team understands our financial picture. Numbers don’t lie, but they need to be translated into meaning—and that’s on me. I also make sure our donors feel appreciated and recognized. Whether contributions are tax-deductible or not, I ensure acknowledgments are thoughtful, accurate, and heartfelt. And finally, I know I won’t be Treasurer forever. I’m already documenting processes and mentoring so when the time comes, my successor can step in smoothly. In short: I’m not just counting beans. I’m aligning our resources with our cultural vision. One eye on the ledger, the other on the horizon—that’s how I serve the Global Embassy of Culture.
I lead the strategic direction, operations, research priorities, and public-facing programs of a national historical institution dedicated to interpreting the American Revolution and advancing the modern historiography of the Battle of Kings Mountain. I manage budgeting, capital planning, donor relations, and tourism strategy while directing the creation of exhibitions, public programs, culinary-heritage experiences, and living-history environments. I supervise historians, educators, heritage interpreters, hospitality professionals, and media teams, ensuring program excellence, historically accurate content, and strong workforce culture aligned with modern psychological-safety standards. I engage community partners, veteran organizations, universities, Indigenous representatives, and cultural institutions to strengthen historical research, expand public access, and preserve regional and national battlefield memory. I represent the Center publicly across media, conferences, and educational platforms. Key Contributions Expanding a comprehensive Revolutionary War heritage destination combining museum interpretation, battlefield education, and food-history experiences. Developing research, library, and archival systems supporting scholars, student fellows, documentary producers, and public-history practitioners. Advancing the interpretation and scholarly conversation around the Battle of Kings Mountain, leadership dynamics, frontier communities, and Overmountain military culture. Producing historical media, educational video content, and filmed programming on-site. Delivering major reenactments, cultural festivals, veteran recognition ceremonies, and academic symposiums. Advancing inclusive workforce practices and psychological-safety protocols.
Acting with several other CEO's in concert and coordination of two museums, an inn, educational outreach and eight books published to benefit the center, I led all teams to success. As donations increased - exhibition expanded. New exhibits and traveling speeches have brought outreach to genealogy associations, the Sons of the American Revolution, and the Daughters of the American Revolution clubs and groups across six states.
In this honorable role I was tasked with building the Schafer Gallery of Heroes and Sheroes, a campground to support the museum, costumes for staff complete with weapons, museum interpretive scripts for tours, live shows featuring colonial actors, and school trip tours for children complete with gift shop creation.
