Being an engineer by training, and coming from a small, entrepreneurial town in northern Italy, I intrinsically value the power of teamwork and trustable and resilient relationships. My journey in Eni began in 2008 after 4 years as a consultant. During these last 17 years, I have been fortunate to have developed a deep understanding of our company, with broad and diversified insights, starting with our marketing department where I contribute to launching the sales of gas and power to retail customers in the newly liberalized market. Then, I joined the Office of the CEO, where I supported top management on strategic projects for the group. Subsequently, I took on negotiation responsibilities within the upstream oil and gas business, spending approximately six years abroad in commercial and business development roles, first in Norway, then in Kazakhstan, and finally in Egypt. I returned to the headquarters in Italy in May 2020. I served as the head of Investor Relations at Eni until April 2022, when I was appointed as the Head of Business Development, Negotiations, and M&A at Plenitude, Eni’s renewable energy development company. Most recently, in October 2023, I was promoted to Head of the North Africa and Eastern Mediterranean region for Eni. It is indeed an exciting time in the energy business and I am glad to contribute to my company’s objective to be a leader in the energy transition.
