Being an ECA member allowed me to work in an international environment, to strengthen my public speaking and presentation skills.
- I participated as a European Commissioner at EuroMUN – the annual simulation of UN and EU institutions with a focus on Global and European topics; - Together with my team, we redacted a legislative proposal on the topic of universal basic income, common minimum wage and the regulation of the Gig economy; - I therefore learnt how to redact a legislative proposal and to present it to a formal audience; - I gained knowledge and experience on public speaking, I trained my mediation and coordination skills, and I gained important insights on the internal working of European Institutions;
The internship consisted in the collection of documentation relating to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic in EU countriesand in the assessment of the consequences in terms of compression of democratic freedoms.
