Supporting the coordination and development of institutional funding initiatives and innovation programs within Leonardo Electronics Division. Activities include proposal management for national and international funding opportunities (EU, NATO, EDA), cross-functional coordination with technical and corporate stakeholders, and support for R&D and technological innovation initiatives. Involved in strategic collaboration with funding agencies, industrial partners, competence centers, universities and innovation ecosystems, contributing to the positioning and development of advanced technology programs.
I take care of the management and governance of the rollout of several HR IT projects and cross-system integrations, including enhancements, further developments, change requests and technical/post go-live support and problem solving, which involve different platforms and software (e.g. Workday, SAP, Concur, ServiceNow, etc.).
Working in a multicultural environment, I collected and analyzed requirements of both national and international clients, with the aim of implementing and customizing Workday HCM modules (e.g. Core, Learning, Talent, etc.). In addition, I held several follow-up meeting and demos with customers to recommend best practices, propose further enhancements, optimize their usage of the platform, and make them aware of its functioning and potential.
I designed and provided Human Capital Management solutions to several national and international customer companies and took care of the maintenance and customization of their cloud-based systems (e.g. Cornerstone On Demand and Workday), with particular focus on AI and Machine Learning capabilities. Moreover, for what it concerns Cornerstone On Demand projects, I was assigned as team leader, thus managing both technical and functional teams and taking care of the knowledge transfer towards both junior resources and clients.
I designed and provided Human Capital Management solutions to several national and international customer companies and took care of the maintenance and customization of their systems based on Cornerstone On Demand.
The project consisted of a feasibility study of microgravity services on board Ariane 6 third stage and was supervised by Prof. Jean-Jacques Favier, Research Program Director at the International Space University (ISU) and former Astronaut, and Dr. Arnaud Biard, Innovation Project Manager at Centre National d’Étude Spatiales (CNES) Launch Systems Directorate. The final thesis includes a detailed technical description of Ariane 6 rocket and a list of possible experiments to perform on board of its third stage, together with a comparison with other existing platforms for microgravity research and a business plan based on a critical analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the eventual implementation of such platform. A white paper was produced and presented at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Adelaide (Australia) on September 2017.
During this three-month internship, I designed a wireless communication system for swarm intelligent robots based on LTE technology, under the supervision of Prof. Kazuya Yoshida. This system represents a testbed for further research and implementation on groups of multiple rovers for lunar exploration. During this experience, I used C and C++ to program a SolidRun HummingBoard Edge platform. A final report was produced and presented to ISU faculty.
The traineeship project, supervised by Dr. Erik Kuulkers and Dr. Celia Sanchez, had the objective of detecting superbursts and intermediate duration bursts among hundreds of “candidates”, by performing temporal and spectral analysis of INTEGRAL data collected from several X-ray binary stars. During this experience, I made wide use of IDL and Linux.
