L'attitudine all'analisi dei problemi e alla loro risoluzione è una caratteristica che mi contraddistingue e che mi ha portata al conseguimento di due Lauree in "Biotecnologie Farmaceutiche" e "Molecular Biologyc and Genetics" e un Dottorato in "Medicina Traslazionale". Durante questo percorso ho applicato le mie abilità nello sviluppo di nuove tecnologie e ricerca traslazionale in laboratorio, arrivando poi alla progettazione e cura di studi interdisciplinari nazionali ed internazionali, analisi dei dati statistici fino alla gestione di un piccolo team di laboratorio. Da qui ho deciso di intraprendere un nuovo percorso nell'ottimizazzione di processi di produzione di farmaci innovativi venendo così in contatto con nuove realtà. La predisposizione al risolvere i problemi mi ha sempre portata ad esplorare nuovi campi e sviluppare nuove competenze. ● Research topic: Translational research mainly focused on chronic respiratory diseases and the study of host pathogen interaction in bronchiectasis. ● Scientific writing: translational and clinical scientific articles, protocols, and documentation for ERB evaluation. ● Data analysis: Bioinformatic analysis of microbiome (QIIME2 and R) and statistical analysis for clinical and translational projects using R, SPSS and graphpad ● Lab work: Real time PCR, PCR, RNA sequencing and mutation analysis, ELISA assay and enzymatic kinetics analysis, basics of microbiome analysis ● Coordination in lab and assistance in thesis writing of 4 students during internship ● Participation to international congresses with abstracts, posters and short talks on relevant research projects (ERS 2018 - 2019, 4th world bronchiectasis and NTM congress 2020)

Tutoring classes for undergraduate medical students in General Chemistry and Biochemistry (SSD BIO10)
● Fully-funded by SIP-IRS (Italian respiratory society) – Prize SIP research fellowship 2019. ● Research topic: Translational research in respiratory infections in different respiratory diseases. ● Training on bioinformatic analysis of microbiota (QIIME2 and R). ● Lab work (molecular biology): Sample processing, DNA-RNA extraction, Real-time PCR, BAL cytology, sample preparation for microbiota analysis and RNA-seq, basics of cultural microbiology. ● Lab work (in-vitro and in-vivo): In-vivo work with mice (mice handling, respiratory bacteria inoculation and sample collection) and in-vitro experiments with cell lines and primary cell cultures (challenging with mycobacteria)
