I started my path at the University Centre of the Westfjords back in 2024, specializing in Coastal Communities and Regional Development. My studies focus on the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities of small coastal and rural communities, with particular attention to sustainability, local development, and social resilience in remote regions. I am especially interested in how regional development strategies, community engagement interact to shape the future of rural areas in Iceland and beyond.
