I am a fourth-year doctoral student in Hofstra University's Clinical Psychology PhD program, where I am actively involved in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) specialty clinics. I currently train as a clinical extern on the Combined OCD and Bipolar Externship Track at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health. Previously, I completed an externship at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, providing evidence-based treatment for a range of mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. Before beginning my doctoral training, I completed a two-year post-baccalaureate clinical fellowship at McLean Hospital’s Simches Center of Excellence in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University. My clinical and research interests include dialectical behavior therapy, borderline personality disorder, emotion dysregulation, suicidal and non-suicidal self-injury, and third-wave behavioral therapies. I am particularly passionate about understanding and addressing the unique mental health needs of individuals struggling with chronic emotion regulation difficulties.
