I have been active in the packaging industry for more than 25 years. During the first five years, I worked as project and sales manager in Germany and the United States for Haver&Boecker. Currently, I am managing partner at Vermeulen Ingenieursbureau as well as General Manager of Haver Service Benelux. At Vermeulen Ingenieursbureau, we specialize in liquid filling, bag packaging, palletizing and hooding of pallets as well as load securing. Furthermore, we have experience in grinding and screening technology. Our company represents machinery suppliers from Germany, Denmark and France, including Haver&Boecker and MSK. We are well known for our quality products, services and honest technical advice. One of my strengths is in motivating our team to deliver high quality products together. I strive to provide sound advice, steeped in extensive product knowledge, so that the customer gets a successful solution. A new customer relationship begins with the sale; however, in my opinion, it is just the start of building a long-term relationship. Therefore, I stay closely involved throughout the entire process, which includes recording technical details, testing, kick-off the implementation and managing after-sales requirements. Knowing they have one person to help them through the entire process helps establish that desired long-term relationship.
Haver Service Benelux is a joint venture between Haver&Boecker and Vermeulen Ingenieursbureau. Haver Service Benelux fits perfectly into the new service strategy of Haver&Boecker. The main focus is to supply our customers in the Benelux with the best service and support possible.
At Vermeulen Ingenieursbureau I am responsible for larger contracts in the industrial packaging field, managing business development and HR. Our goal at the end of the day is to deliver the best solution to the customer from a technical as well as operational point of view.
As part of an intercompany training programm for international sales and project management, I had the opportunity to work out of the US offices. My main focus was on the chemical industry.
In preparation of my function at Haver Filling Systems, I worked at the sales and project department for the chemical business unit.
