In 2007 I started Strohm as the world's first and leading manufacturer of Thermoplastic Composite Pipe. In the role of General Manager I developed the start-up, set up pilot production and successfully introduced our technology and products in a very conservative Energy market. In 2014, following the company’s relocation and establishment as independent company, I became statutory director and moved to my current role of Chief Commercial Officer and, recently, Deputy CEO, for what is now a successful scale-up in the Oil & Gas and Renewables markets. I am accountable for Business Development, Sales, Tender Management, Product Development, Marketing, Communication, Account Management and Field Service & Operational Support.
Responsible for setting up and managing a new Business Unit in the Airborne Group: Airborne Composite Tubulars (now Strohm). This included: ● Product development with a strong focus on the market and clients ● Business development: introduction of game-changing composite tubulars in a risk-averse industry ● Production technology development ● Organisation development In this role I was responsible for the company's development until the move to IJmuiden, The Netherlands.
On behalf of Strohm, I have joined the Advisory Board of this leading conference in the deepwater field. Marine, Construction & Engineering (MCE) Deepwater Development is recognised as the leading conference addressing technical issues related to engineering, development, and production of oil and gas in deep and ultra deepwater arenas around the world.
General Manager, P&L responsible for the NL business unit in the ASEP Group, manufacturer of Well Services Equipment for the Oil & Gas Industry. Key metrics and achievements: ● Turnover growth from € 16m to € 50m per annum ● Profit growth from 11% to 15% EBIT ● Expanding the product portfolio ● Implementation of critical organisational changes to support radical company growth whilst keeping all time high client satisfaction ● Managing growth from 70 to 210 FTE ASEP has been acquired by National Oilwell Varco in 2009 following record years of turnover.
Functional management of the Philips CE service organizations in the Nordics, Switzerland, UK and Ireland. Responsible for Spare parts sales, Service and Consumer Satisfaction in assigned territory.
