Task: - Design of homogenous catalysts for multiphasic reaction systems - Utilization of CO₂ as C1 building block in multiphasic reaction systems - Process development for multiphasic reaction systems During my PhD, in context of the Carbon2Chem® project, I addressed the conversion of CO₂ in a multi-phasic, homogenous catalyst system towards a C1 building block for the polymer sector. In this BMBF project, which was initiated by ThyssenKrupp and accompanied by Covestro, I was able to develop and realize a suitable process strategy within a given time frame. The cooperation with the chemical engineering department of the RWTH Aachen university (AVT) and Covestro accelerated this development effectively. The experiences with R&D, project management and cooperation was an excellent environmentto develop professional and personal abilities.
