With a proven track record in developing and executing global sourcing strategies, I lead the Steam Turbine Airfoils Commodity to drive strategic growth, efficiency, and ensure all initiatives adhere to the highest compliance standards. My role emphasizes building strong supplier partnerships, fostering mutual growth, and enhancing supply chains to support GE Vernova and our customers. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the creation and implementation of compliant global sourcing strategies to meet total capacity needs, enhance supply chain efficiency, and mitigate risks. Supplier Partnerships: Develop and strengthen strategic supplier partnerships to enable mutual growth and long-term success. Supply Chain Optimization: Drive initiatives to enhance supply chains, including best cost country (BCC) sourcing, productivity improvements, supply base rationalization, and ensuring capacity to support GE Vernova and customer needs. Lean Initiatives: Drive lean initiatives to reduce lead times and increase outputs through Six Sigma and lean methodologies. Negotiation & Supplier Management: Develop and execute negotiation strategies, drive supplier selection and development, and manage supplier relationships to achieve strategic goals. Contractual Relationships: Establish complex, global, and comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual and strategic relationships. Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate strategic long-term Blueprints and yearly Operational plans, ensuring rigorous reporting and execution of metrics.
I led the Steam Turbine Blade and Small Forging Commodity for GE Steam Power. My focus was on ensuring a world-class supply chain in terms of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs). This includes defining the sourcing strategy, implementing this strategy and developing suppliers. I negotiated frame agreements with suppliers all around the world in order to support GE Vernova`s and our customers delivering dependable, reliable and affordable power.
I served as Global Commodity Leader for Small Forgings (Forgings <10 MT). Focused on supplier market research and identification of new supplies as well as developed and implemented sourcing strategies. In addition, I negotiated price lists and supply agreements for GE Steam Power.
