GIEP-Data Centre Consolidation project for an International client. Engaged as PMO and Wavemaster to prepare, plan and deliver Data Centre migration to client's HQ located in foreign country. Wave1 migration delivered successfully; - 30 servers leveraging various operating systems - 40 people engaged - delivered in 30days as planned Sandbox completed successfully; - mid-step migration of infrastructure to prepare environment for tests of client's core systems. Wave2 migration delivered successfully; - migrated 313 servers running on wide variety of systems leveraging from RedHat, Windows2008 to Oracle - migration scope covered 17 master application groups - Intensive planning, preparations and migration took less than 2 months - More than 100 people were involved through planning to execution of migration - 78 hours took to move, reconfigure and test the entire infrastructure
