As Deputy CEO & CCO Enterprise at A1 Austria, my clear focus is on driving the digitalization of Austrian enterprises, strengthening their competitiveness, and securing the long-term success of Austria’s economy and society. In my role as Deputy CEO and CCO Enterprise, I continue to lead the Enterprise business while driving initiatives that strengthen Austria’s position as a competitive and innovative business hub. My focus is on enabling companies to thrive in the digital age, fostering economic growth, supporting societal development, and shaping a sustainable, secure, and forward-looking future for Austrian enterprises and the Austrian economy.
Within the A1 leadership team – the Austrian executive board – I’m responsible for our B2B unit (accounting for app. 800 MEur annual turnover). Together with my team, consisting of app. 600 industry experts, marketing and sales professionals and solution consultants, I’m constantly seeking to optimize the business of our customers. We do this by translating business needs into technical solutions and implementing new cutting-edge technologies.
As a member of the local executive board, I was responsible for Sales & Marketing in Austria. Our core intension was to design and deliver high end technical IT solutions for our business customers. Beeing a part of a leading global IT organization we not only managed to support our clients on a local level but also accompanied them across the globe.
Evolving from the former Alcatel Lucent corporation, we as NextiraOne constantly tried to improve the unified communication demands of our clients and strive for the “New Way of Work” already back in 2009. Together with my Marketing experts and our industry partners, we transformed the company from a single vendor boutique to full scale solution integrator along the ICT needs of our clients.
With only 7% fixed line penetration and no UMTS yet available, Albania was greedy for some broadband connectivity. During my expat assignment at MobitelWireless we designed a comprehensive market development strategy, rolling out Wimax for consumer and business customers.
Deriving from the Swedish Kinnevik AB group, Tele2 was clearly positioned to challenge the established incumbents within the telecommunication industry by offering lean, cost effective Telco solutions. As residential marketing and sales director, it was my task to develop the right portfolio and right channel mix to address our consumer customers.
