15 month placement within the company as part of Graduate Scheme, resulting in senior position to help lead the company in the future. Responsible for carrying out several projects for the company, streamlining practice and reducing costs. Placement 1 (6 Months) : Sales Analyst (SC) in Frozen Foods. Project of purchasing and managing supply of new ethnic foods category in it's start up. Achieved 100% availability on the launch. Placement 2 (3 Months) : Retail placement strengthening links between retail and supply chain. Observed issues for improvement in retail operation and presented back to supply chain directors and heads, some issues raised have now been resolved based on recommendations. Placement 3 (3 Months) : Sales Analyst (SMS) in Horticulture. Worked on 3 projects over this placement: Redesigned the existing Information System to incorporate the new Fresh Format in Produce. Gained visibility of cost (units/value) to the company of stock loss and worked with commercial department to solve the issues. Developed a new gap scan procedure in Produce to increase OSA in stores. Placement 4 (1 Month): Logistics placement in Wakefield J41 depot to develop knowledge of the supply chain journey.
Spent two years working full time as a Secondary Science teacher. Completed GTP during this time, and the Teach First Leadership Development programme. Involved in several projects to improve the school and faculty including redesign and implementation of ICT systems and long term planning of new syllabus.
