Hardworking and conscientious: I take pride in my work and have gained a Distinction for my HNC in Building Services Engineering and have almost a decades experience in the industry initially working on design and build as well as framework projects. During my initial years I worked on the contracting side. For the past five years I've been a design consultant so I have a breadth of knowledge of most aspects of mechanical building services design, especially the practicalities. I think starting my career on the contractor side really helped as I was responsible for ensuring the design works throughout the entire installation process. You can't leave issues in the design for others to sort out as it is your company installing to the design. So now, even as a consultant, I try to ensure my designs can be installed as easily as possible by the contracted engineers.

Here, I worked on a lot of banking and Ministry of Justice framework projects.
During my time here, I have gained practical experience in designing mechanical services for various design and build projects including schools, offices, retail parks, and car showrooms. I have a good understanding of BREEAM, and have used both Hevacomp and Cymap design software. I also had to carry out design risk assessments for all of my projects. Further to this, I also took on the roles of First Aider and Fire Warden, and my responsibilities included carrying out fire alarm testing and fire drills.
