I am a Frontend Developer specialising in the modern JavaScript stack with experience in the latest web technologies including React, Node, Next JS and Typescript. Driven by continuous improvement I am looking for an Agile software organisation where I can use my skills to contribute to meaningful software projects. Motivated by my long time passion for programming I decided to pursue a professional career as a software developer. Starting as a self-taught developer, I got deeper into the web and got my hands on JavaScript which fascinated me ever since. After contributing as a contractor to different projects with a strong focus on modern JavaScript (TypeScript), Istarted working professionally at Aardy.com. While at Aardy I have been mostly working on fullstack features that included TypeScript, React as well some backend functionality. I’ve had the chance to dive deeper into topics like testing (TDD), performance as well as continuous integration and continuous delivery. Being part of a startup taught me how to balance software development best practices with time to market. This experience embedded in me the spirit of problem solving and team playing besides building solid technical foundations. It’s been a hell of a ride and I’am loving it. In my free time, I like reading about new technologies and to watch and play (when possible): rugby.
