I joined Decathlon Digital to support the growth of the entire Insight zone composed of data teams split in domains (20 to 100+ people in 2 years) from a tech point of view. As a staff engineer, I play the role of a data expert for these analytical teams. My role is to make sure our amazing teams of data guys (DA, BI, and AE) work in an efficient way and under the same rules to deliver insights without too much effort. I focus on data transformation and data exposition - Support the rollout of a common stack for 100+ data guys - Build templates (DBT, Airflow) to get everyone under the same data referential (common datamart structure) - Guidelines adoption and enforcement (modelization, coding style, monitoring) - Revamp the dashboard publication process (Tableau) - Facilitate onboarding of newcomers - Provide analytics engineering training for upskilling data teammates (70 people trained) - Support rollout of Databricks Genie on top of a common federated semantic layer (data mesh) - Deploy monitoring project to ensure cost reduction and high data quality through automated alerting ($240k saved in 2025) - Lead a community of 100+ people interested into analytics engineering practise with bi-weekly demo time - Work closely with data platform to make our domains compliant with new Databricks features (migration to Unity Catalog) My end goal is to reduce dashboards' time to market and the level of maintenance required after rollout. I joined Swile to start building data assets at scale. I was working under the COO of the company. I accompanied Swile in its transition from a meal voucher business to a global app that covers many enterprise advantages (gift, praise, mobility ..) Technical mission: - Migration to the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Looker) - Build top Exec dashboard on top of reusable datasets - Salesforce data synch (upscale opportunities, churn detection) Functional mission: - Hiring and onboarding (5 new comers) - Benchmark new tools (Choose Castor as our data catalog) - Training to end user for self-service on Metabase
As part of the Retail Media team I am helping : - Retailer to monetize their websites - Brands to generate more revenue I am an expert of data management & analysis. I provide insights to retailers (Target, Bestbuy, Macy's ..) & brands (Levi's, Microsoft..) in a scalable way.
