Technical project lead for a new Voith BlueLine machine, where we targeted to increase our competitiveness and having a Smart Machine with local control. The machine has been designed with many new features on the market and reaching a new level of safety. In several trails we tested new types of sensors and generated algorithm to e.g. increase the life time of the machine parts or monitor the perfect performance window of the machine. In addition a local control has been developed with our automation and programming experts to generate an intelligent and protected package.

International project with the target of producing 2nd generation (E2G) bio fuel (ethanol) out of biomass. Starting with solving all the challenges in the Canadian pilot plant of our specifically designed pre-treatment machines for several types of "used" plant remains. After this stage our customer decided to develop the first semi commercial E2G-Plant in Brazil, where I have been the technical project leader for our machines. Therefor the very special machines have been designed from me according to the outstanding technological needs, very low pH-value, high temperature operation, caustic washing, massive abrasion and the high inner pressure, in conformance to the ASME-Code. I have also been in charge with a core team to fulfill ASME regulations, purchasing issues and manufacturing process. After the start-up I also performed an inspection on site in Brazil and developed further improvements together with the customer. Provided a maintenance concept to the customer and consulted to start a refurbishment concept, carried out by Voith Brazil.
