• Following the entire Legal Affairs Committee´s (JURI) agenda • Advising on files in LIBE, IMCO, AFET, AFCO, CULT • Advising on migration, digital single market, human rights resolutions and the situation in Eastern Europe • In daily contact with the Committee´s secretariat and other European Parliament´s bodies including political group´s advisors • Preparing JURI Committee meetings and trialogues organized by the JURI Committee • Drafting reports, opinions, amendments and briefings • Drafting speeches for the plenary debates and various other occasions • Participating at trialogues, shadow meetings and technical meetings organized by JURI • Meeting other Committees secretariats, advisors of political groups and APAs • Liaising with senior officials of other institutiions (Council, Commission, ECJ) and national officials • Meeting journalists, pressure groups or representatives of professional bodies • Drafting press releases
Department for Asylum and Migration Policy Unit for Coordination of Schengen Cooperation and Border Control • Czech Republic´s (MoI) representative at Council´s Visa Working Party • Czech Republic´s (MoI) representative at Visa Committee and Travel Documents Committee (comitology) • Czech Republic´s (MoI) alternative representative at Council´s Working Party on Frontiers • Daily communication with the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU • Liaising with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic on Czech visa policy positions and mandates • Drafting briefings and mandates for Justice and Home Affairs Council´s meetings and meetings of the Salzburg forum of interior´s ministers in the area of visas, Schengen cooperation and border control • Drafting MoI´s positons on drafts of relevant national and European legislation (Visa Code, Schengen Borders Code) • Meeting Czech Parliament´s and Czech governments´ officials • Drafting answers to Czech and foreign citizens´ questions on visas, conditions for entry etc.
