I found my passion in combining my Intensive Care Medicine and Computer Engineering Specialization to advance artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine over the last five years. With my dual background, I am an integral part of multiple research teams as an intermediary between the technical and medical team members. 9 years of international experience as a medical doctor and full-time research positions at ETH Zurich and the University of Bern give me the knowledge to take leadership roles in projects. I am the subgroup leader for AI and BigData in the University Hospital Bern's intensive care unit.
